About Lush Artificial Lawns
Getting artificial grass right is all about the drainage and the edge finish. If the surface is not cleaned and leveled properly, you end up with pooling water during the monsoon or uneven seams that curl up after a few months. We always prioritize high-density UV-resistant turf to ensure it stands up to the harsh Delhi sun while keeping the drainage points totally clear.
When you are looking at artificial grass for a terrace, durability is the primary concern. In Delhi NCR, the heat is intense, so we only use 35-40mm high-density turf that is UV-resistant, ensuring it does not fade or get brittle within a year. The installation process starts with a thorough cleaning and leveling of the rooftop surface. This step is critical; if the base is not level, water will pool, causing drainage issues.
Once the turf is anchored, we add stone borders using polished river stones or bricks to hold the edges down and create a clean transition between the grass and your hardscape. This is a practice we use in projects from GK1 to the Verandas in Gurugram to ensure the lawn looks natural rather than just a patch of plastic.
Whether you have a small balcony or a large farmhouse rooftop, artificial turf is a practical solution. It eliminates the need for regular mowing, pesticides, and excessive watering. We often pair these lawns with Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) planters containing heat-resistant plants like Areca Palms or Bougainvillea, which adds height and texture to the space. If you want a more permanent look, we can also integrate this with wood-finish ceramic tiles to create distinct zones for seating and dining.
