Artificial Grass Installation for Balconies and Lawns

You want the look of a lawn without the watering, mowing, or mud. That is where synthetic turf works best, but only if it is installed right. I work with materials ranging from standard 25mm to premium 45mm pile heights. If you are covering a small balcony in Delhi, a 25mm height works fine. If you want a soft, plush lawn for a rooftop or garden, we go for the 45mm four-tone grass that looks like real fescue.

The Installation Process

• Surface Prep: Whether it is concrete, tile, or old wood, I start by sweeping and leveling. If there is a drainage issue, we fix that first so water does not pool under the turf.
• Invisible Seaming: When covering large areas, you cannot have visible gaps or raised seams. I use heavy-duty seaming tape and synthetic rubber adhesives to join rolls, making the transition seamless.
• Edging and Finishing: Grass that lifts at the edges looks messy. I secure the perimeter using pinning or gluing, then use white marble chips or pebbles to create a clean border. Finally, I power-brush the blades so they stand upright, not flat.
