I believe in observing greatness to understand the game. This gallery captures insights from my interactions with Olympic champions, international legends, and India's finest athletes on the court.

A group photo with Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra. His presence is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved with dedication and perseverance, inspiring all our athletes at SAI.

Another moment with the Golden Boy, Neeraj Chopra, and our team at the Sports Authority of India, Bangalore. Learning from his mindset is as valuable as any physical training.

A close-up shot with Neeraj Chopra and some of our volleyball athletes. These interactions provide invaluable motivation for young players aiming for the top.

It was a pleasure to meet Serbian volleyball legend Ivan Miljkovic, an Olympic gold medalist, and Australian player Max Senica. Discussing the game with such experienced players is always a learning opportunity.

Standing with some of the world's best volleyball players, including Wilfredo Leon. Being around this level of talent at the World Club Champs is a powerful experience that I bring back to my own training sessions.

With French volleyball star and Olympic MVP Earvin Ngapeth. Watching and learning from players who have reached the pinnacle of the sport is essential for my own development as a coach.

A thumbs-up with Earvin Ngapeth. His dynamic style of play and on-court leadership are qualities we work to develop in our own players.

About this collection

You might wonder why a coach needs photos with legends like Neeraj Chopra or Earvin Ngapeth. It is not for the fame. Being around athletes who have performed under the highest pressure, at Olympics and World Club Championships, teaches me the specific mindset they maintain during critical points. I bring these observations from the sidelines of international matches and SAI training camps into your sessions, helping you mentally prepare for the scrutiny of national-level trials.

My coaching philosophy is built on the belief that you cannot become the best by only training in a vacuum. You need to see how the highest level of the game is played, coached, and lived. My interactions with international icons like Earvin Ngapeth and Ivan Miljkovic are more than just photo opportunities. I analyze their movement, their reaction to pressure, and their communication with teammates during live competition. When I watch players like Wilfredo Leon or teams at the World Club Championship, I am looking for biomechanical nuances and tactical shifts that I can break down for my students.

Being based at SAI centers gives me a front-row seat to the Indian national team's preparation. Whether it is discussing strategy with national team coaches or analyzing the resilience of hockey legends like PR Sreejesh, I absorb the professional habits of elite athletes. I translate these into your training. When we work on your jump serve or Libero defense, we are not just practicing motions. We are applying the standards I have witnessed at the top of the pyramid. My goal is to ensure that when you step into a national selection trial, the pressure feels familiar because you have already trained with the intensity and foresight of a pro.

I started in the Indian Air Force where discipline was the only way, and I brought that same focus to the volleyball court. I do not just coach skills, I mentor athletes to think and act like professionals. If you are ready to put in the work to reach the national level, we will make it happen together.
