yoga isn't just a pose on a mat. it’s a way of looking at the world, from the quiet of a himalayan retreat to the simple lessons learned in a park.
I will be hosting a meditation retreat in the Himalayas at this beautiful homestay in Manali. This is an opportunity to disconnect from the noise and immerse yourself in deep practice, surrounded by the profound stillness of the mountains.
The mat is ready. My practice space in Goa, open to the jungle, is a place to connect with the raw, unfiltered energy of nature.
A lesson from my dog. If you are angry, you are living in the past. If you are fearful, you are living in the future. But when you are at peace, you are living in the present.

the spaces where i teach are stripped back for a reason. whether it is a private session on a terrace in bangalore or a retreat in manali, the environment is meant to reduce distraction, not add to it. i remove the mirrors and the ambient music because you need to hear your own breath, not a playlist. when we practice in silence, the internal noise becomes impossible to ignore, and that is where the work actually begins.
the retreats i host in manali are not vacations. they are an opportunity to be in total silence, surrounded by mountains, away from the digital noise. the homestay serves as a base to strip away the habits that keep you stuck. it is about physical stillness and mental observation. my personal practice space is an open terrace. the floor is hard, the air is real, and the distractions of nature are present. i teach you to be stable regardless of the environment. the reflections i share are meant to be practical, not poetic. if you are looking for a studio with climate control and incense-scented air, look elsewhere. if you want to understand why you feel angry or fearful, and you want to use the body to resolve those states, you are in the right place.
