High-Fashion Eyewear Campaigns That Define Style
Eyewear advertising is about more than just the product. It is about building a cinematic world that makes the viewer stop, look, and want to be part of the story.
For the IDEE Eyewear "See Through" film, we built a world around different personas. This high-energy commercial showcases a range of styles against dynamic, projected backgrounds, telling multiple stories within one campaign.
This film for IDEE Eyewear was a study in contrasts and form. Using a minimalist studio setting with stark lighting and reflections, we focused on creating powerful, graphic compositions that highlight the bold design of the eyewear.
We captured the cool, relaxed persona of Kartik Aaryan for this Irus Eyewear film. The shoot was about showcasing different styles in a quick, modern format, reflecting the dynamic energy he brings to the screen.
A clean, minimalist film for IDEE Eyewear. Here, the focus is entirely on the product and the model's interaction with it. We used high-key lighting and subtle movements to create a sophisticated and modern fashion film.
This still is from a narrative film we shot for IDEE Eyewear. Taking the brand out of the studio and into the desert allowed us to build a story around the product, giving it a cinematic and adventurous context.
About High-Fashion Eyewear Campaigns
A campaign for eyewear isn’t just about showing the frames; it is about establishing a persona. Whether we are shooting in a minimalist, high-contrast studio setup to focus on the graphic lines of the product or heading to a textured, sun-drenched location to build a narrative, my priority is the cinematic language of the film. We collaborate closely with stylists and DOPs to ensure the lighting and color grading align with the specific energy of your brand identity.
Building a Visual Identity
When I approach an eyewear campaign, the frame is just the starting point. I look for the soul of the collection. Is it edgy, rebellious, or sophisticated? We decide this through a mood board that dictates everything from the choice of lens to the color grading.
Studio vs. Location
I offer two distinct approaches depending on your brand's vision:
- Studio Shoots: We use high-contrast editorial lighting and minimalist backgrounds to isolate the eyewear. This approach is perfect for campaigns that need a graphic, high-fashion look where the focus remains strictly on the product and the model's attitude.
- Location Shoots: Sometimes, the product needs context. We take the campaign to heritage properties or textured urban landscapes, using natural light and professional voiceovers to weave a narrative that gives your eyewear an adventurous, lived-in feel.
The Collaborative Process
I believe in leading a team that can execute a vision without compromise. My production workflow includes a specialized crew of 10-12, comprising DOPs, focus pullers, and gaffers. We utilize high-end cinema gear like RED or Arri Alexa to ensure the film has a theatrical, timeless quality. From rhythmic editing synced to high-energy music to premium DI color grading, we handle the production end-to-end to ensure your final deliverables are ready for social media and broadcast.
