Who I Am
Music is pretty much my life. I’m Tanya, a 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Bangalore, and honestly, nothing compares to that mad rush of a live show. I’ve been at it for more than 8 years – from little gigs to some wild festival crowds, Rolling Stone shout-outs, even radio play overseas. I just want to keep the music real and the vibe honest.
What You Get
Every event has its own mood, so I don’t stick to one style. Want a hyped-up party band for weddings? You’ll get that full-band, all-night energy with me and Moksha All Stars. Big Bollywood and pop bangers, plus some Queen and Bon Jovi tribute madness.
Looking for something a bit more you? I bring my own indie artist live performance with the Tanya Shanker Collective. Originals, fun covers, a mix of pop, rock, funk, and R&B – basically, if you want something fresh, here it is.
Or maybe you want things simple – just me, stripped-down, as an acoustic singer for private events or those chill unplugged music night vibes. Perfect for cafes, small weddings, or house parties.

My Story
Alright, here goes nothing. I’m Tanya, 19, Bangalore girl, singer-songwriter, bit of a bookworm too. My guru Richard’s been my anchor for ages. Music’s kinda my diary - I write about messy love, second choices, and all the wild stuff online. My EP ‘Cyberfantasy’ got a shoutout in Rolling Stone, which still blows my mind. Off-stage, you’ll catch me buried in Sylvia Plath or Voltaire. On stage? I let loose, but it’s all heart.
