Welcome to the Indian School of Sports. This video gives you a look at our facilities, from the entrance of the SWYNG center to our professional-grade indoor badminton and squash courts where we train.
A personal introduction from me, Coach Rahul. I explain my coaching approach and our commitment to helping athletes prepare their bodies correctly for the demands of squash and badminton.
This is our team at the Indian School of Sports. We are a community of players and coaches who support each other on and off the court, united by our passion for sports.
We offer both group and personal coaching to suit every player's needs. This photo from a one-on-one badminton session highlights the focused attention we provide to help players refine their technique.
About Our Facilities & Community
When you train with us, you are not just booking a court. You are joining a community that uses standard synthetic mats for badminton and professional-grade courts for squash to ensure your practice is safe and effective. We keep batch sizes small, so whether you are a total beginner or prepping for a tournament, you get the specific court time you need to improve without the crowd.
Finding the right space to train in Bangalore can be challenging, which is why we have focused on partnering with professional centers like the SWYNG facility in Bellandur, PLaY Arena in Kasavanahalli, and St. Peter's School in Kaikondrahalli. My goal with the Indian School of Sports is to bridge the gap between casual play and structured athletic development.
Why Our Facilities Matter
Your progress depends on the environment. We use synthetic badminton mats that provide the right grip and shock absorption to prevent common injuries like ankle twists or knee strain. For our squash players, we ensure access to well-maintained, professional-grade indoor courts that allow for consistent ball bounce and clear visibility during high-speed rallies.
More Than Just a Court
I don't just want you to show up and hit shuttles. We run our coaching in a way that builds a community. Because our ratios are kept low—roughly 1:12 for group beginner classes and 4:6 for advanced competitive groups—my team and I can provide feedback that is actually useful to your game.
We also bring in outside expertise for nutrition and mental wellness because being an athlete is about more than just your physical output on the court. Whether you are joining my 'Little Champs' program for kids or a high-intensity adult session, you are stepping into an ecosystem where the coaches are SAI certified and the other players are there to support each other's growth.
