Our Featured Bamboo Architecture Projects
We transform spaces using bamboo, from commercial restaurants in Bengaluru to private eco-cottages. Here is a look at some of our favorite builds where we turned raw bamboo into functional, lasting structures.
This video captures the soul of the Silbatti restaurant in Bangalore, a project I built entirely from bamboo. Notice the warm, inviting glow of the lighting against the natural texture of the bamboo structure, the custom-crafted furniture, and the seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor seating areas. Every element was designed and executed by my team to create a complete eco-friendly dining experience.
The power of transformation is at the heart of what I do. Here you can see how I turned a standard building facade into the striking, warmly lit entrance of the Silbatti bamboo restaurant. This before and after shot demonstrates my ability to execute a complete structural and aesthetic overhaul.
I can turn any terrace into a peaceful retreat. For this rooftop project, I used a combination of durable wooden deck flooring and custom-woven bamboo furniture to create a comfortable seating area. The surrounding greenery and shaded pergola make it a perfect urban escape that connects you with nature.
This A-frame bamboo cottage is a prime example of the sustainable homes I build. Its design maximizes natural light and ventilation, while the structure itself is lightweight, strong, and built on a raised foundation. This is a perfect model for an eco-friendly home or a resort cabin.
This before and after view of the Silbatti restaurant's main hall shows the scale of my construction capabilities. I transformed an empty shell into a bustling, atmospheric space defined by its soaring bamboo roof structure, support columns, and intricate wall paneling, all handcrafted by my team.
My work extends to large public landscapes like this project at the Manekshaw Centre. I designed and constructed this large gazebo to serve as a natural, shaded focal point within the sprawling lawns. It’s a durable structure that blends perfectly with the environment, providing a place for rest and gathering.
I am proud that my work in promoting sustainable bamboo construction was recognized with the 'Change Maker Award'. This honor reinforces my sankalp, or pledge, to continue pushing the boundaries of green building in India and delivering award-winning quality to my clients.
About Featured
When you work with us, you are not just buying a structure; you are getting a complete design-to-build experience. We handle the structural integrity, termite treatment, and site execution ourselves, so you do not need to juggle different contractors. Whether it is a commercial cafe in Patna or a private gazebo in Delhi, we ensure the bamboo is chemically treated for longevity and that the build is functional, not just aesthetic.
Bamboo is often misunderstood as temporary or weak, but when treated correctly, it is one of the strongest and most sustainable building materials available. We call it 'Green Gold' for a reason.
Our Build Process
We follow a rigorous process to ensure our projects stand the test of time:
- Design & Visualization: We start by understanding your vibe and needs. We provide 2D layouts and 3D walkthroughs so you know exactly what the final structure will look like.
- Material Treatment: Every pole goes through a multi-step borax and boric acid treatment to ensure it is termite-proof and borer-resistant.
- Execution: Our on-site team handles everything from the foundation to the roofing. We use a hybrid joinery system, combining traditional rope lashing with modern, concealed nut-bolt mechanisms for added strength.
Why Choose Bamboo?
Aside from being eco-friendly, bamboo is lightweight, flexible, and has excellent thermal properties. For our cottages, we use a sandwich panel system for walls with insulation to keep the interiors comfortable in various climates. We also include concealed electrical conduits within the bamboo poles for a clean, professional finish.
Projects Across India
We have executed over 100 projects, from sprawling landscapes like the Manekshaw Centre to intimate rooftop escapes. We bring the same level of detail to a small balcony makeover as we do to a multi-story restaurant build. Our goal is to push the boundaries of what is possible with sustainable materials in urban spaces.
