Our Featured Architectural Projects and Design Stories
A look into how we blend nature, art, and raw materials to breathe life into old structures and new dreams.
We believe a great space builds a great community. For the Toit brewery in Bengaluru, we used marquee lights and exposed structures to create an inviting, energetic atmosphere that has become a beloved city landmark.
This is where imagination takes flight. We transformed salvaged aircraft wreckage into the Aste Bar, using actual passenger seats and fuselage parts to create a truly unique and immersive experience.
Our Earth Alive project shows how industrial shipping containers can be reborn as harmonious living spaces. Here, a container is elevated into a watchtower, blending into the rewilded landscape and offering a new perspective on sustainable design.
The bones of an old building hold its memory. In this Coimbatore home restoration, we revealed the original brick arches and concrete frame, creating a dramatic, light filled core that honors the structure's past.
We see potential where others see waste. This split view shows our process: on the left, discarded metal scrap, and on the right, the finished, elegant rain chain it became for a boutique hotel in Chikmagalur.
Step inside the Toit brewery. This short film walks you through the warm, industrial space we designed, highlighting the interplay of exposed brick, rich wood, and natural greenery that encourages people to connect and linger.
Nature is our constant inspiration. We crafted these ant sculptures from recycled steel, bringing a touch of bio-inspired art to our studio wall and reminding us of the small, powerful forces that shape our world.
About Featured
We often get asked how we turn scrap—like aircraft parts or old shipping containers—into functional spaces. It is not just about aesthetics; it is about understanding the memory of the material and giving it a second life. When we start a project, whether it is a brewery or a family home, we look for what can be reused or restored before we ever talk about buying new materials.
Architecture is rarely about starting from a blank slate. In our studio, we see potential in the forgotten—the dusty warehouse, the faded mansion, or even a piece of rusted industrial scrap. Our design process is a conversation between the old and the new, where we peel back layers to find the beauty in raw, honest materials.
How We Work
We believe in the principles of slowness, diversity, and play. Our team does not believe in demolition as a default. Instead, we perform a structural audit to see how we can strengthen existing walls and integrate modern HVAC or electrical lines without losing the soul of the building.
- Materials that Speak: We love exposed concrete, achukal brick, and oxidized metal. We do not hide these textures; we spotlight them.
- Adaptive Reuse: From repurposing shipping containers for eco-resorts to converting industrial warehouses into breweries, we focus on maximizing volume and narrative.
- Resourcefulness: If you have an ancestral home, we focus on restoring stone pillars and brick arches while adding the comfort of a modern layout.
Designing with a Narrative
Whether it is the industrial vibe of the Toit brewery or the quiet solitude of a home in Coimbatore, every project is built around a story. We do not just design for today; we design for how the space will age and breathe. If you have an old building that needs a new purpose or a piece of land that calls for something truly unique, let us talk about how we can build your story into the structure.
