When I perform for a party, my focus is the floor. My 5-6 piece band includes drums, bass, and electric guitar, giving us that full, concert-style sound. We do not just play songs. We read the room, switching between 90s Bollywood anthems and the latest Punjabi dance tracks based on the energy of the crowd.
Getting the band right is about the gear and the chemistry. For these high-energy setups, we come fully equipped with a digital mixer, 2 tops, and 2 subwoofers to ensure that the bass hits the spot. My band is my family, and we have played enough weddings and corporate events across Delhi and Dubai to know that a great party needs more than just the right playlist.
We structure the night to build momentum. We start with tracks that get people nodding along, and as the night progresses, we transition into high-tempo hits to keep the dance floor packed.
