About Aerial Dance
Why I Love Aerial Dance
Aerial Dance is more than just flying around on silks and hoops. It’s a mix of strength, discipline, and self-expression. I see people walk in unsure, and walk out swinging and soaring with a smile. That’s what keeps me hooked.
How We Teach
We keep it strictly and sweetly - you’ll hear us say, "Dekho, aise hota hai" (Look, this is how it’s done) almost every session. We break every move down so it’s not overwhelming. Technique and safety come first, but we don’t make it boring - you’ll get encouragement at every stumble, not just applause at every win.
What Happens in the Workshop
- You start with the basics on aerial silks and hoops (Lyra)
- Every session is a mix of beginner aerial hoop moves, core strength building, and flexibility training for dancers
- Routines balance discipline with expressive movement, so you get to show your style, even if you’re just starting
Who Can Join
We keep it open for everyone:
- Kids 5 and up: playful, confidence-building classes
- Adults: more focus on grace, strength, and challenging your limits
Real Talk
First tries are usually awkward. That’s normal here. With small groups, you get plenty of personal attention, and every clumsy moment is a step closer to flying. You don’t just walk out stronger - you walk out feeling different about yourself.

My Story
Osu! I’m Tharun S. Acharya, started Horizon Champions Club in 2018. Karate runs in my blood, you’ll see my son Lakshan kicking around in his gi. Our motto? Defending Dreams. For me, every student is not just a fighter, but someone trusted by their parents to be safe, strong. That’s a big responsibility. We respect tradition here – recently got a Maha Guru Bodhidharma painting for our dojo. Karate is more than medals, it’s about discipline and building a champion mindset.
