From humble beginnings to a hub for professional training, our journey is defined by the players who show up every day. These moments celebrate the hard work we put in on the turf in Kandivali.

This aerial shot was taken to celebrate seven years of our academy. It shows the heart of our operations: multiple nets and grounds buzzing with players dedicated to their craft.

Celebrating five years of Homeground Cricket Academy the best way we know how: by playing cricket. This video captures the fun and energy of our community of students, parents, and coaches.

About Academy Life & Milestones

When you look at our anniversary photos, you aren't just seeing a celebration. You are seeing the result of a 6-day-a-week routine on natural turf wickets, which is the exact same training schedule our pros follow to prepare for leagues like the Kanga and Giles Shield.

Building this academy in Kandivali wasn't about setting up a few nets and waiting for students. I started this because I lived the struggle of traveling across Mumbai just for 15 minutes of batting, and I knew we had to do things differently. Seven years later, our milestones are measured by the quality of cricket played on our grounds, not just the years we have been open.

We prioritize infrastructure that actually makes a difference. Unlike concrete-based setups, our natural turf wickets provide the bounce and variation needed to prepare for competitive play. Every student here goes through the same cycle: technical drills on the turf, fitness sessions with resistance equipment, and video analysis to fix technique.

Our academy life is built around a simple philosophy: if you put in the work, the results will follow. Whether it's a junior learning the grip or a senior preparing for MCA selection trials, the environment is intense but supportive. We don't believe in quick fixes. We believe in building a mindset, teaching players how to handle pressure before they even step onto a match field, and ensuring they have the path to reach tournaments like the Kanga League. If you are ready to grind, we are ready to coach.

I'm Paul Valthaty, and I built this academy to give local players the facilities I never had growing up in Borivali. I’m hands-on with every session, ensuring that whether you're U-12 or playing open age, you're getting the same professional attention our IPL guests receive.
