My gym workouts are built for the turf. We don't train like bodybuilders—we build explosive speed, tackling power, and endurance that lasts until the final whistle.

A look inside a total body gym session with my SAI STC athletes. We are working on key movements: the bench press for pushing power, barbell hip thrusts for explosive speed, shoulder presses for stability, and leg presses for lower body strength. Every exercise has a purpose on the hockey field.

The work is hard, but the joy is real. This is my women's team at SAI NCOE Delhi celebrating after a tough gym session. We train hard, but we always make time to build team spirit and have fun together.

About Hockey-Specific Gym Training

You won't find random bodybuilding routines here. We focus on hockey-specific movements like barbell hip thrusts for explosive sprints and heavy deadlifts for tackling power. We use video analysis to fix your form, because a strong muscle is useless if it doesn't translate to winning that critical 50-50 challenge on the turf.
