Balcony & Terrace Makeover Package
Hardscaping & Flooring
- Artificial Turf: Installation of high-density artificial grass (35mm pile height) with dual-tone green finish.
- Decking: Interlocking WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) deck tiles in teak or walnut finish. Water-resistant and termite-proof.
- Detailing: Polished river pebbles (white or mixed color) for borders and pot fillers.
Plant Selection
- Curated Mix: Air-purifying and ornamental plants suited for semi-shade (Snake Plant, Areca Palm, ZZ Plant).
- Premium Specimens: Inclusion of statement plants like Monstera Deliciosa or Fiddle Leaf Fig in the high-end range.
- Soil Mix: Lightweight media containing Cocopeat, Perlite, and Vermicompost to minimize structural load.
Planters & Decor
- Pots: UV-protected FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) or Rotomolded planters in matte finishes. Includes rectangular troughs and tall tapered designs.
- Verticals: Wall-mounted metal grids or wooden trellis structures for climbers.
Lighting & Logistics
- Illumination: Warm-white LED string lights or battery-operated fairy lights draped on features.
- Execution: Transport of materials, labor for installation, and post-work cleanup.
Ground Landscape Execution (Civil & Softscape)
Civil & Ground Work
- Earthwork: Site clearance, debris removal, and filling with a 4-6 inch layer of fertile Red Soil mixed with organic manure.
- Hardscaping: Pathways constructed using concrete paver blocks or natural stone steppers (Kadappa/Basalt) set in the lawn.
- Kerbing: Concrete kerb stones installed for clear garden demarcation.
Softscaping
- Lawn: Supply and laying of carpet grass (Mexican Lawn or Selection No. 1) suitable for the local climate.
- Shrubs: High-density planting of hardy flowering shrubs (Ixora, Hibiscus) and boundary hedges (Duranta).
- Trees: Planting of semi-mature trees (6ft-10ft height) such as Fox Tail Palms or Plumeria, including staking and fertilization.
Irrigation & Lighting
- Watering: Provisioning for manual hose points; basic drip irrigation network for shrub beds in premium tier.
- Fixtures: Weather-proof outdoor cabling with LED Spike lights for trees and 2-3 ft Bollard lights for pathways.
Living Vertical Garden System
Structural Framework
- Grid System: MS (Mild Steel) fabricated grid framework, anti-rust treated and securely anchored to the civil wall.
- Modules: UV-stabilized plastic pot system or Geotextile fabric pockets designed for vertical root containment.
Plantation Specs
- Density: Approximately 8-10 plants per sq ft for immediate coverage.
- Species: Shade-tolerant varieties like Ferns, Syngonium, and Philodendrons.
- Media: Soilless potting mix (Cocopeat + Perlite) to ensure the system remains lightweight.
Automation & Irrigation
- Drip Network: Integrated inline drip irrigation running through each module row.
- Controls: Digital timer connection for automated watering cycles (requires power and water point).
- Drainage: Collection channel at the base to manage excess water flow.

A green space can change how you feel at home or work. I started Himalayan Exotica to bring a bit of that calm, natural vibe back to city life. Plants aren’t just decoration for me - they’re a way to slow down and feel connected, even when life’s running fast.
What I Do
- Take up all kinds of projects, big or small - from tiny balconies to huge campuses.
- Turn boring spaces into lush gardens, inside offices or outside in your backyard.
- Worked with places like D.Y. Patil University, Reliance, and public spaces (KDMC road dividers).
- Got the skills for complex stuff too - like moving big trees with cranes, or setting up green wall installation for a modern look.
How I Work
- First, I visit and really listen to what you want. My style is all about biophilic landscape design, blending in with your surroundings.
- I handle the whole thing - from soil prep, planting, pathways, to those small finishing touches.
- After it’s done, I stick around for maintenance or just to give advice - including how to keep pests at bay, desi style.

- Night owl? I add landscape lighting so your plants shine after dark.
- No time for upkeep? I make low maintenance garden solutions or even use artificial plants that look real.
