About Urban Romance & City Lights
It is not just about finding a cool background, it is about moving naturally while the city pulses around us. I will guide you to ignore the traffic and the noise, helping you focus on that one gaze or laugh that makes the frame work. Whether we are chasing the golden hour or the neon city lights, the goal is to make you feel like there is no camera there.
When we shoot in the city, we are essentially filming a scene from your life. My approach for these urban sessions is to keep the energy high and the movements fluid. We often start during the golden hour to get those soft, sun-drenched portraits before transitioning into the night, where the city lights create a dramatic bokeh background.
Why Urban Shoots Work
- Natural Interaction: Unlike studio sets, the city gives us moving subjects—cars, crowds, and architecture—which forces you to interact with each other rather than focusing on the lens.
- Outfit Versatility: Urban settings pair perfectly with modern, chic outfits. We usually recommend coordinated sets or clean, solid colors that pop against the concrete and glass.
- Bangalore Landmarks: Whether it is the modern facade of UB City, the quiet stretches near Cubbon Park, or the bustling night markets, we select spots that feel specific to your relationship.
My Process
If you hear me say, "Matte matte, eradane take," (Again and again, second take), it simply means I saw a spark and I want to catch it again. I do not do rigid, over-posed shots. I want the real stuff. We usually plan for about 6 to 8 hours to ensure we have enough time to change locations and outfits without rushing. If you are worried about the camera, do not be. The best shots often happen when you think I am not even looking.
