About Engagement Ceremony Moments
During your engagement ceremony, I am not just waiting for moments to happen. If I feel we missed a perfect angle of a ritual or a specific expression, I will gently say, 'Matte matte, eradane take' (Once more, second take) to get it right. It is a quick, unobtrusive direction that ensures we do not miss the shot that truly defines your day.
Engagement ceremonies move fast. Between the stage events, ring exchange, and family greetings, it is easy to lose the candid emotions in the crowd. My approach balances the need for formal family documentation with the artistic, cinematic shots you actually want.
My Approach to Your Engagement
I deploy a 3-person team for these events. This is essential for full coverage. One photographer stays focused exclusively on the couple, hunting for those fleeting reactions and intimate whispers. The second photographer handles the formal rituals, ensuring grandparents and extended family are captured in their best moments on stage. The third person manages the video coverage, capturing the movement and sound of the ceremony.
What we cover
- The Rituals: From the first pooja to the final exchange of rings, I ensure the key cultural moments are documented clearly.
- The Portraits: We set aside a 20-minute window for a dedicated couple portrait session. This is where we use the venue's best light for those signature, art-grade photos.
- Family Candid: I watch the sidelines. The best photos of your engagement often happen when your family is laughing or tearing up, not just while you are on stage.
I deliver 300-500 edited images, providing a mix of color-corrected ritual photos and stylized portraits that you will actually want to hang on your wall.
