My approach to urban shoots is about blending the grit of the city with the softness of your relationship. We look for the contrast—the grand, silent arches of Vidhana Soudha against the candid, vibrant energy of your laughter, or the vintage vibe of a classic scooter parked on an MG Road side street.
Planning for a city session requires a bit of strategy. I recommend early morning starts to catch the best light before the traffic picks up and to have the streets largely to yourselves. We discuss your wardrobe choices beforehand, ensuring your outfits complement the urban environment rather than disappearing into it.
If you feel awkward in public, it is completely normal. Most of my couples feel the same way at the start. My job is to guide you into natural, unposed movements—walking, talking, or just sharing a quiet moment—so you eventually forget the camera is there.
