About Cinematic & Creative Portraits
When I am on a shoot, I often say, 'Matte matte, eradane take'—because that second take is where the magic happens. I focus on creating cinematic, high-fashion portraits rather than just standard couple photos. Whether we are using smoke bombs in a rugged field or framing you against city lights, my process involves careful lighting setups and directing your movement so that the final image captures a genuine, dramatic narrative instead of a forced pose.
My approach to creative portraits is all about depth and mood. I rely on full-frame Canon R5 and R6 cameras and work with a lighting assistant to ensure every frame—from a night portrait under fairy lights to an adventurous shot in a rocky quarry—has professional production value.
I often scout for unique textures and backgrounds. We might use the grand architecture of a heritage site to frame a traditional look, or head to a quiet lakeside at sunset for soft, natural light photography. If you want something bolder, we can incorporate props like a vintage car or light trails to give the session a stylized, movie-like quality.
You will receive signature skin-retouched, high-resolution edits, but I also provide the raw data so you have the full scope of the day. Because I prioritize cinematic storytelling, these sessions are structured around comfort. I take the time to set up the light and the composition, then I encourage you to simply interact with each other. The result is a series of portraits that feel like stills from a film, capturing the authenticity of your relationship without the stiffness of traditional studio photography.
