Getting that rich, maroon colour isn't about luck. It’s about the quality of the henna paste and how you care for it during those first 48 hours.

The color of love. A stunningly dark henna stain, showing the couple's initials on the fingers.

For clients who are in a rush, I also offer instant red mehndi. This video shows the application and the immediate vibrant color.

About The Perfect Stain: My Natural Henna

Most people think the colour you see when I wash off the dried paste is final, but it is not. My 100% organic Sojat henna needs exactly 24 to 48 hours to oxidize and reach its peak deep maroon shade. If you want that specific 'dark stain' look for your wedding day, I always advise planning for the application to happen two days before your main ceremony so the colour has time to develop fully.
