About The Beautiful Henna Stain
The depth of your mehendi stain depends entirely on the quality of the henna paste and how you care for it during the first few hours. I use only 100% organic, homemade cones with essential oils like lavender or cajeput, ensuring a chemical-free process that avoids the risks of cheap, synthetic alternatives while guaranteeing that rich, dark colour you want for your event.
Why Organic Henna Matters
Many commercial cones use chemical dyes to create an 'instant' colour, but these often fade quickly and can cause skin irritation. My approach is different. Because I hand-mix my henna, the stain is deep, long-lasting, and completely safe for your skin. The colour typically starts as a bright pumpkin orange and matures into a deep, beautiful mahogany over 24 to 48 hours.
Aftercare for the Best Stain
To get the best result from your session, remember these simple rules:
- Keep it dry: Avoid water for at least 6 to 8 hours after application.
- Warmth helps: Heat encourages oxidation. If you can, keep your hands warm after the henna dries.
- Let it crumble: Allow the dry paste to flake off naturally rather than washing it off immediately.
My Process
Whether I am working on a bridal piece in Kharghar or traveling for a destination wedding, my process stays the same. I ensure every client gets fresh, premium henna. For weddings, I recommend booking at least two days before your main event. This gives the stain enough time to reach its full, dark potential, ensuring your hands look their absolute best when the celebrations are in full swing. If you are planning an event in Mumbai, Pune, or anywhere across India, let me know your dates early so I can prepare a fresh batch of organic paste just for you.
