We believe children learn best together through play. Our group sessions are designed to improve social skills like cooperation, sharing, and waiting, using fun activities to build friendships and confidence.

Play therapy is a powerful tool that helps children manage stress, anxiety, and hyperactivity. It provides a safe outlet for them to express their feelings and learn coping mechanisms.

We use both directive and non directive play therapy to suit each child's needs. These images show the variety of play we incorporate, from structured group games to free imaginative play.

This group play therapy session uses a hula hoop to encourage interaction and following directions. Activities like this improve cooperation, joint attention, patience, and self confidence.

In this group activity, children are learning to pause and reflect before acting. This game teaches impulse control and encourages them to think about their movements and interactions with others.

This aiming activity is a fun way to improve hand eye coordination, motor skills, and focus. Children take turns throwing objects through a hoop, learning to wait and cheer for their friends.

Indoor games like this ladder hop are perfect for developing gross motor skills and body balance. It's a structured way for children to get physical activity while learning to follow patterns and directions.

This memory game challenges children to follow a sequence of arrows with their hands. It's a great brain exercise that improves visual memory, concentration, and sequencing skills.

This group activity is a fun targeting game that improves eye hand coordination. Children wait for their turn to participate, learning patience and social skills in a playful setting.

Parachute games are a favorite in our group play therapy sessions. They require teamwork and communication, helping children learn to work together towards a common goal.

Musical statues is a classic game that we use to teach listening skills and impulse control. The children have fun dancing and freezing, all while practicing how to follow rules in a group.

About Group Activities & Social Learning

When a child joins our group sessions, they aren't just playing; they are navigating social rules in real-time. Whether it is a game of Musical Statues or learning to carry a mat together, we actively observe how they handle group noise, turn-taking, and frustration. We use these natural moments to gently guide them on how to wait, how to ask for help, and how to join a game without feeling overwhelmed.

Building Skills Through Connection

Individual therapy builds strong foundations, but our group sessions bridge the gap to the real world. At our centers in Gurgaon and beyond, we create a safe, structured space for children to practice interacting with peers under the guidance of our special educators.

What Happens in a Group Session?

We don't believe in random play. Every activity has a specific therapeutic purpose:

  • Cooperation & Shared Responsibility: Games involving props like parachutes or mats require children to work together. They learn that 'Teamwork makes the dream work', improving their joint attention and patience.
  • Impulse Control: Activities like 'Musical Statues' or directional jump games are direct drills for listening and impulse control. Children must pause, listen for the rule, and act at the right moment.
  • Social Rules & Boundaries: We practice turn-taking in every game. Whether it is throwing a ball through a hoop or waiting for a friend to finish their turn, these small interactions teach children to respect space and social timing.
  • Emotional Regulation: If a child finds a group environment challenging, we start with parallel play—playing near others without direct interaction—and gradually move toward collaborative games as they gain confidence.

Our 'Masti-Filled' Approach

For us, learning should be 'masti' (fun). We see kids who struggle to follow instructions individually suddenly thrive when they see their friends doing the same thing. We celebrate every 'high five' and every clap, because these small wins are the steps toward social independence. If your child is hesitant about group settings or struggles to play with others, these sessions offer a supportive environment to build that confidence.
