About Speech & Language Therapy
Finding a child's voice isn't always easy, but it's what we care about most. At Sankalp and Gurukul, we work with kids aged 2 to 12, including those with Autism, ADHD, and Down Syndrome, to help them communicate better, step by step.
Connection Comes First
Before we start, we focus on making every child feel safe and welcomed. We hear parents worry, "Abhi to baithega hi nahi woh..." (He won't even sit right now), and we get it. Building trust comes first - therapy can wait until your child is ready.
Therapy Feels Like Play
Our approach is mostly play-based speech therapy for kids. We use pretend games, puzzles, songs (like 'Head, shoulders, knees and toes'), and even some laptop-based activities to make learning feel like masti (fun). The goal is for therapy to feel like a happy part of their day, not a chore.
What We Work On
- Speech clarity: From first sounds to clear words, every improvement is a big deal.
- Vocabulary & listening: Picture cards, games, and daily routines help kids grab new words and follow instructions.
- Sentence building: Guiding kids from one-word answers to proper sentences.
- Social skills: Group play for sharing, turn-taking, and just having fun together.
Flexible Sessions
We offer one-on-one sessions for focused goals and group social skills therapy to build confidence with peers. Every milestone is a reason to celebrate, even if it's just a happy "High five de do" (Give me a high five) at the end of a session.

My Story
Namaste! We’re Gurukul Centre, and honestly, it’s all about those 'Happy Faces' at the end of the day. Started small, now we’re in Gurgaon, Gwalior, Shimla, Jabalpur – and growing. For us, every child’s voice matters. We’re not just a therapy place, we’re ‘bandhan jo hamesha saath nibhaaye’ (a bond that lasts forever) with kids, families, and our team. Metro rides, gardening, non-fire cooking – learning is everywhere, masti (fun) is a must. Team spirit, lots of love, and a little bit of magic.
