We move beyond the classroom to teach practical, real-world skills. From navigating markets to mastering self-care, we help children build the confidence they need for everyday life.

We believe in learning by doing. Here, we gave a child twenty rupees and a simple shopping task to build decision making skills and independence in a real market environment.

This is a crucial part of ADL training where a child learns to communicate his needs and correct a mistake at a shop. He is exchanging an incorrect item, a vital skill for self advocacy and problem solving.

After the shopping trip, we review the transaction. We discuss the cost of items and check the math, reinforcing the concept of money and ensuring the child understands the value of what he purchased.

This video shows the key objectives of our shopping outings. We focus on money handling, exploring the market, developing social skills, and encouraging independence in a structured way.

We created a mock stationery shop to practice money handling in a controlled setting. This role playing activity helps children understand the process of buying and selling without the pressure of a real store.

Our "Wonder Kids Market" is set up with various books and stationery items. This allows children to practice their conversational and money handling skills in a fun, interactive group setting.

A trip to a supermarket provides a real world learning experience. Pushing a shopping cart and navigating the aisles are practical activities that build strength, coordination, and familiarity with daily routines.

The simple act of serving water is a multi-faceted life skill activity. It improves hand eye coordination, teaches responsibility, and develops organizational skills as the child learns to carry a tray steadily.

Caring for plants teaches responsibility and provides a calming sensory experience. This daily activity of watering plants helps children connect with nature and understand the needs of other living things.

Our non fire cooking sessions are a safe way to introduce children to the kitchen. Here, they learn to follow instructions, measure ingredients, and work together to prepare a simple snack.

About Essential Life Skills Training

We don't just talk about independence; we simulate it. Our 'Wonder Kids Market' and real-world market trips are where the work happens. We give children actual currency and specific tasks—like buying a biscuit and chips—so they learn decision-making, social interaction, and money management in a safe, guided environment.
