At The Little Gym, we believe gymnastics is about more than individual movement. Through carefully structured group games and partner activities, we help your child develop essential social skills, learn to share, and cheer for their peers.

Kids who move together, learn together. Four friends sit in a circle, laughing and stretching. These moments of connection are just as important as the physical skills they learn.

A high-five between two friends celebrates a job well done. I encourage positive reinforcement and peer support, teaching kids that gymnastics builds both body and brain, and also friendships.

An instructor helps a toddler on the bar, demonstrating the trust and encouragement that is central to my teaching. Kids learn to cheer each other on and build friendships through movement.

A grade school class starts with group warm-up exercises. Moving in sync helps build a sense of unity and prepares them mentally and physically for the lesson ahead.

A heart-shaped stretch circle. This image beautifully captures the spirit of my gym, where kids and instructors connect and work together, building a strong and supportive community.

Instructors and kids join hands for a group stretch. This activity promotes flexibility while reinforcing the importance of teamwork and helping one another.

A class of young children and their instructor sit in a circle, flexing their muscles. This opening circle activity helps kids focus, follow instructions, and feel like part of a team.

The opening circle is how every class begins. It's a time for kids to connect, listen, and prepare for the activities ahead, fostering social skills and a sense of belonging.

About Teamwork & Friendship

Every session begins with our signature Opening Circle, where children move past individual goals to engage with their peers. This is where we actively teach 'citizen kid' values, such as waiting for a turn, giving high-fives of encouragement, and celebrating a partner's success as if it were their own. These small, consistent interactions transform our gym floor into a space where social confidence is built alongside physical agility.
