How We Start
I see each child as different, and sometimes when a child walks in, they’re not ready to sit or listen. Abhi to baithega hi nahi... instructions bhi nahi sun raha (He won’t sit now... not even listening to us). That’s normal, so I first work on building trust, focus, and readiness before jumping into teaching.
Play is Our Superpower
Kids learn best when they’re having fun. I use play-based skill development in every session, whether it’s group activities or one-on-one time. It’s not random play - there’s a purpose behind each game, helping kids pick up new things without even realizing it.
Foundations Matter
Before we get to academics, I focus on basics like social skills for special needs and fine motor tasks. Simple stuff like tracing, using rhymes, or group therapy helps children learn to share, wait, and build hand strength. These small steps make a big impact.
Life Skills Everyday
Practical life skills for children are a big part of my sessions. We do real things - pouring water, drying clothes, even easy cooking together. There’s role-play for personal care, mock shopping for money handling, and outings to learn traffic rules. It’s about making kids independent, bit by bit.
Growing as a Community

My Story
Namaste! We’re Gurukul Centre, and honestly, it’s all about those 'Happy Faces' at the end of the day. Started small, now we’re in Gurgaon, Gwalior, Shimla, Jabalpur – and growing. For us, every child’s voice matters. We’re not just a therapy place, we’re ‘bandhan jo hamesha saath nibhaaye’ (a bond that lasts forever) with kids, families, and our team.
