When I take on a large-scale project, the first step is always the soil quality. I insist on grading the land properly for natural drainage and bringing in fresh red soil, because without that foundation, your lawn or park simply will not survive the local climate. I handle every phase, from clearing construction debris to planting, ensuring everything is done without harmful chemicals.
My work on large layouts and parks focuses on durability and low-maintenance aesthetics. Many people worry about the upkeep of a large lawn, but the secret lies in the installation. I use Mexican or Bermuda grass carpets, which establish quickly and cover ground effectively.
My Execution Process
- Site Preparation: I start by clearing debris and weeds, then grade the land to ensure water flows away from structures, preventing waterlogging.
- Soil Foundation: I add 2 to 4 inches of fertile red soil enriched with manure to create a base where plants and grass can actually thrive.
- Hardscaping: I integrate stone or concrete pavers to create designated pathways, which keeps foot traffic off the green zones and gives the space a structured, finished look.
- Plant Selection: For large plots, I select hardy species like Plumeria or Bougainvillea that can withstand full sun and require less frequent watering.
