When you choose plants from me, you are getting more than just a pot and some soil. I ensure every plant, whether it is a hardy Snake Plant or a lush Fern, is well-acclimatized to our local climate before it reaches you. I avoid harsh chemicals, using natural nutrients like vermicompost and neem oil to keep them thriving and pest-free from day one.
Growing plants in urban Indian homes requires a shift in perspective. It is not just about filling a corner; it is about choosing the right species that can handle the light and humidity of your specific apartment or house. I have seen many people buy plants that look great in a nursery, only to have them struggle in a living room. That is why I focus on sourcing and prepping plants that are actually ready to live in your home.
My Green Pet Philosophy
I believe plants are living companions. Whether it is a giant Philodendron for a bright corner or a Snake Plant for a low-light area, I select varieties that are robust.
- Indoor Setups: For home or office spaces, I recommend Fiddle Leaf Figs or Monsteras. These add immediate texture and help with air quality, provided they get the right filtered light.
- Balcony Gardens: If you are in Bangalore or Mysore and have a balcony, we can work with hardy flowering plants like Bougainvillea that love our weather.
How I Work
I do not just drop off a plant. I look at your space, assess the light, and recommend a plant that will actually survive there. I use a custom soil mix with cocopeat and perlite to ensure the plants stay healthy without being too heavy for your balcony.
