We traded keyboards for mud and haven't looked back. Here is the story behind our mission to bring nature back into Bangalore homes.
This is my wife and co-founder, Priya. Her vision is to bring back the Garden City glory of Bangalore. Here she is, presenting Greenedeck and sharing our mission to be a one-stop solution for all gardening needs.
Meet Murali, the heart and soul of our team and our very first employee. He is a passionate farmer, and I am constantly learning from his knowledge of agriculture. As he says, "Raithare naavu" (We are farmers).

I truly believe that no luxury can replace the simple comfort of sitting beneath a tree. This feeling is what drives our mission to plant more trees and create more green spaces for everyone to enjoy.

About Our Story & Our Team
We did not start as experts. We started as two IT professionals who killed quite a few plants before learning how to nurture them. That trial-and-error phase is exactly why we do what we do—to help you skip the frustration and get straight to the joy of watching things grow, whether it is a balcony patch or a terrace farm.
It started with a few dead plants in our own home. Coming from IT backgrounds, we were used to quick fixes, but nature taught us patience. We realized that if we wanted to help make Bangalore a Garden City again, we could not just talk about it—we had to get our hands dirty.
That is why 'Raithare naavu' (We are farmers) is not just a tagline for us. It is our operating philosophy. Whether it is our first employee, Murali, digging in pots or us helping you with organic soil mixes, we approach every project with the same respect for the soil. We do not believe in corporate jargon or complicated setups. We believe in practical, budget-friendly organic methods like coconut shell mulching and natural pest control.
We have documented our wins and our losses, so you do not have to repeat our mistakes. When you work with us, you are not just hiring a service. You are learning how to turn your balcony, terrace, or backyard into a living, breathing ecosystem with a team that truly loves the process.
