Greenedeck
My Story
Ellarigu namaskara. Greenedeck is Nakul's business. After years in IT, Nakul found his passion in gardening. He started experimenting at home with his wife Priya, and to be frank, "we killed many plants!" Those experiments kept us learning. Saalumarada Thimmakka inspires us to plant more trees. Today we are a small team, three people on execution and one on materials. Murali, our first employee, says "Raithare naavu", we are farmers, whether we dig in land or pots. We want to bring back the Garden City glory of Bangalore.
My Work
Gardens and care - We landscape homes and farms, add decorative greenery to commercial spaces, maintain plants, install artificial greens and teach gardening.
Villa and property landscaping - Our projects include Pranay's 10,000 sq ft property, Sushanth's villa and Rachana's garden at Prestige Summer Fields.
Commercial planting and care - We have greened Organic Mandya stores, Pegs and Bottles and schools with decorative planting, and maintain plants at three stores.
Farm work - We landscape and manage farms, with planting, stone paths, irrigation and water-supply work among our project examples.
Balconies and terraces - We combine potted plants, vertical greenery and artificial elements, and build vegetable beds for home growing.
Organic methods and learning - We share coconut shell mulching, composting and natural pest management, and teach gardening online and in farm workshops.
