About Firefly & Monsoon Magic
We do not pause for rain. In fact, our best firefly sightings and monsoon frog discoveries happen when the clouds roll in. We handle the logistics like tents, safety, and guided trails, so you just need to bring your sense of wonder and a pair of sturdy shoes.
The monsoon brings a special kind of life to the forest, and we make sure your family gets front-row seats to the show. Our camps are about more than just watching; they are about understanding the wild. We spend our weekends trekking through trails to find bioluminescent fungi, learning about local insect life, and yes, chasing the fireflies that turn the night forest into a starry wonderland.
What happens at camp?
- Guided Night Walks: Naturalists lead us through the forest to spot nocturnal creatures. You will learn to identify different frog calls and see how insects behave when it rains.
- Hands-on Nature Art: We do not just look at nature. We create with it. Depending on the weekend, we might work on LED art to mimic fireflies or keep nature journals to document what we find.
- Inclusive Adventures: Whether your child is a budding naturalist or just starting to explore, we ensure our activities are paced for all ages. We have hosted children with special needs and are happy to chat about how we can make the trail comfortable for your little one.
- Comfort in the Wild: We stay in pre-pitched tents with sleeping mats and bags. It is rustic but cozy. We provide nutritious meals, bonfire snacks, and all the gear you need to stay dry and comfortable while exploring.
