About Kids-Only: The Fairywood Adventure
Sending your child on their first residential camp feels like a huge milestone, but we make it easy. We maintain a strict 1:8 staff-to-child ratio, providing 24/7 supervision at our secure, fenced campsites. Your child gets the freedom to explore, trek, and learn hands-on outdoor skills, all while we handle the safety, logistics, and meals.
Our Fairywood camps are designed to turn curiosity into confidence. Over 3 days, kids step away from screens and into the wild, engaging in structured outdoor play and workshops that connect them to the ecosystem around them.
What happens at camp?
We balance adventure with learning. Kids participate in obstacle courses, nature journaling, and tactile workshops like seed bombing, cyanotype sun prints, and clay modeling. They learn to identify nocturnal insects, understand star constellations, and work in teams during scavenger hunts. It is all about getting hands dirty and minds active.
Safety and Logistics
We take the heavy lifting off your plate. Every residential camp includes:
- Transport: Round-trip AC bus service from designated city points.
- Accommodation: Gender-segregated, shared tent living within secure, fenced premises.
- Meals: 6 full-board meals, including snacks and continuous access to filtered drinking water.
- Care: 24/7 monitoring by our experienced team members.
This is not just a getaway; it is a chance for your child to gain independence. They return home with new friends, a Junior Naturalist badge, and a sense of wonder about the natural world that they can carry back to the classroom.
