About Our Nature Kits & Journals

Our 'First Nature Journal' is more than just a notebook, it is a guided companion packed with observation prompts and nature stickers designed specifically for kids aged 4 to 10. Whether you are at a local park or exploring your balcony garden, it helps your little explorer move from just looking to actually documenting what they find, from leaf shapes to butterfly patterns, building a habit of curiosity that stays with them.

Why nature journaling matters

We believe nature should be a daily habit, not just a weekend event. Journaling acts as a bridge for children, teaching them to slow down and notice the intricate details they might otherwise miss. It turns a simple walk into a scientific mission where every ant trail, seed pod, or cloud formation becomes a story to record.

What is inside the kit?

Our 'First Nature Journal' evolved from a simple notebook to a structured activity book over two years of testing with our community. It includes:

  • Observation Prompts: Guided questions to help kids describe what they see, hear, and feel.
  • Interactive Stickers: Creative tools to label drawings and track seasonal changes.
  • Scavenger Hunt Sheets: Our signature checklists that turn any outdoor space into a treasure map.

Making it a family ritual

Journaling is best when it is shared. We encourage parents to get their own journals and sit alongside their kids. It is not about perfect art, it is about 'muddy memories' and shared discoveries. You might start with a leaf rubbing, sketch a bird you spotted, or press a flower you found on the way to school.

How to get started

We ship our kits across India, making it easy to bring the Green Panther experience home. If you are in Bengaluru, you can also pick up a copy at Atta Galatta. These kits make excellent return gifts for nature-themed parties or thoughtful presents for young explorers who are ready to trade screens for streams.

We are Green Panther, a tribe of parents and children who believe in swapping malls for mud. We created these tools because we saw how quickly a child's fear of the outdoors turns into deep fascination once they have the right gear to explore. We are here to help you build a childhood full of messy, magical stories.
