About Behind the Scenes
Great photography is rarely a solo act. These behind-the-scenes moments highlight the coordination between makeup artists, stylists, and myself long before the final shutter click. Whether in my Mangalore studio or on location in Bangalore, the focus is always on the precision required to produce professional results.

The Collaborative Process
Every shoot requires a specific team. You will see glimpses of the preparation involved, including:
- Makeup and Styling: Collaboration with professional artists is essential to ensure the aesthetic, whether it is a traditional bridal look or a high-fashion editorial, is executed accurately.
- Lighting Setup: My work involves precise control of light. From the Godox setups in my studio to managing natural light on location in Goa or Bangalore, the setup time often equals the shooting time.
- Direction: Directing models or clients to achieve the right expression and pose is a significant part of the job. This is particularly relevant for actor headshots where capturing a specific range of emotions is the goal.
Conceptual Shoots
For thematic projects, such as the Goddess Durga shoot featured here, the planning goes beyond just the camera. It involves prop management, wardrobe coordination, and specialized lighting to create a specific visual narrative.
