Getting ready on your wedding day shouldn't feel like a high-pressure deadline. I work closely with your makeup partner to manage the timeline so you have time to actually breathe, take photos, and share a quiet moment with your family. My priority is ensuring you feel calm and comfortable while we handle the pinning, draping, and final adjustments.
When you look at these photos, you aren't just seeing hair and makeup. You are seeing the culmination of months of planning and the genuine happiness of a bride who feels like herself. Whether it is a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony or a modern reception, the goal is always the same: a look that lasts through the rituals and the dancing.
Why the process matters
People often ask about how I handle different styles. From the structured elegance of a Nauvari drape to the soft, romantic waves for a sangeet, I focus on the technical side so you don't have to worry about it. For instance, if you are wearing a heavy Paithani, I ensure the pleats are secure and the drape is comfortable enough to move in for hours. For South Indian styles, I use specific padding and pin techniques to ensure your floral garlands and gold accessories stay exactly where they need to be.
Working as a team
I almost always work in sync with your makeup artist. Because I specialize in the hair and draping, we coordinate the schedule to ensure the transition from 'getting ready' to 'ceremony-ready' is seamless. We have seen it all—from the emotional moments when the bride first sees her final look to the fun chaos of the bridesmaids getting ready.
My approach in Mumbai and beyond
