Divine Designs: Transforming Spiritual Heirlooms
Turn your cherished spiritual motifs and religious heirlooms into wearable art. I redesign your traditional pieces while keeping the soul intact, creating fresh, modern jewellery you can wear every day.
We gave this old kundan necklace set a divine touch. We used the original pendant and added a beautiful Ganpati piece in the center, studded with colored stones, to create a statement choker.
This Ganesh Chaturthi, we brought a divine transformation to life. An old gold pendant and earrings were reborn into a grand statement necklace with Lord Ganesha at its heart, adorned with polki and emerald malas.
For Janmashtami, we created this special piece from real ivory heirlooms depicting Shreenathji and Yamuna Maharani. The result is a beautiful, fresh design that celebrates faith and family history.
Ancestral revamping with Mona. We took these beautiful antique 22kt gold hair clips, featuring peacocks and Krishna, and antique gold coins to create a lovely, chunky, one-of-a-kind necklace.
About this collection
The biggest hesitation clients have is the fear of melting down gold that holds sentimental or religious value. I do not melt anything. Whether it is an old kundan pendant featuring Ganpati or 50-year-old ivory pieces, we carefully dismantle the settings and reposition the motifs. We build around your existing centerpieces using polki, Russian emeralds, or custom pearl jaali work to create a fresh silhouette without losing the original metal.
Honouring Heritage with a Modern Twist
Many of us have inherited jewellery that features specific divine motifs like Lord Ganesha, Krishna, or religious coins. While these pieces are rich in history and blessings, they often end up sitting in a locker because the settings feel dated or the style doesn't fit a modern wardrobe. My approach to these divine designs is simple: we keep the sacred element at the heart of the piece and redesign the structure around it.
The Transformation Process
- Non-Destructive Dismantling: We don't melt your heirloom gold. We carefully take apart the existing setting, preserving the original motifs like your nani's gold coins or antique pendants.
- Layout Planning: We conceptualise a new design based on your lehenga colour palette or your personal style preference. We might combine a single pendant with Russian emerald malas or intricate polki strings to give it a grand, statement look.
- Signature Pearl Jaali: To add volume and elegance, we often incorporate hand-woven freshwater pearl lattice work, which complements the traditional look of divine motifs beautifully.
Common Redesign Requests
- Ganpati & Deity Pieces: Moving deities from stiff, old-fashioned pendants to flexible, contemporary necklace bases.
- Antique Gold Coin Fusion: Turning scattered coins into a chunky, cohesive, one-of-a-kind statement necklace.
- Traditional Nath to Choker: Repurposing classic nose rings into the centerpieces of new, festive-wear chokers.
Whether you are based in Mumbai or across India, we can manage the entire design process over video consultation. We ensure that your pieces remain secure while we breathe new life into them. Let us work together to make your heritage jewellery wearable again, celebrating both your family history and your personal style.
