Before we begin, I host a 45-minute assessment session to evaluate the viability of your existing stones and metal. This is a crucial step because every piece of jewellery ages differently. We do not simply melt gold blindly; my team and I inspect the structural integrity of your diamonds and the condition of the metal to ensure your new design is not just beautiful, but durable enough for daily wear.

How The Transformation Works

• The Initial Assessment: We start with an evaluation in my Mumbai studio. I check your diamonds for chips or setting risks and test the gold quality.
• Conceptualizing: I sketch out ideas based on your stories. We look at whether we should keep the original silhouette or completely reimagine it. If you want a specific modern aesthetic, such as a minimalist stack or a cocktail ring, we map that out.
• CAD Visualization: Before any metal is cut or stone is removed, you see a 3D CAD visualization. This gives you two chances to suggest iterations, ensuring the final piece matches your vision.
• Technical Execution: My team handles the complex work of extracting stones and refining gold. Please note that a standard 10-15% refining loss applies during the melting process. We then cast your new mount in 14K or 18K hallmarked gold and set your stones using modern micro-pave or bezel techniques.
