We give our students a chance to perform on a real stage with full lights and sound as part of our annual showcase, focusing on teamwork, stage skills, and confidence.
Pricing Guide
Standard Group Performance Package
Training & Performance
- Rehearsals: 8 to 12 dedicated weekend sessions focusing specifically on the showcase routine.
- Stage Time: Participation in one synchronized group act lasting 3.0 to 4.5 minutes.
- Dress Rehearsal: One full run-through at the studio or venue to finalize stage blocking.
Costume & Styling
- Attire: One set of coordinated stage costume (satin, polyester, or sequined fabric) provided via rental or bulk purchase.
- Accessories: Includes props (like hats or pom-poms) and hair accessories if required by the routine.
- Exclusions: Footwear and base makeup must be arranged by the parent.
Event Deliverables
- Media: Access to high-definition photos and a professionally edited video link shared 3 to 4 weeks post-event.
- Recognition: One participation trophy and a printed certificate of achievement awarded at the finale.
- Hospitality: Light refreshments provided backstage for the student.
Premium Solo or Duet Performance
Specialized Coaching
- Private Sessions: 6 to 8 hours of 1-on-1 (or 2-on-1) training with a senior instructor for routine design.
- Music & Mixing: Collaboration on track editing and selection for a 2.5 to 3.5 minute performance.
- Polishing: Focused training on facial expressions, stage coverage, and confidence.
Premium Production
- Stage Presence: Exclusive use of the entire stage area during the main show.
- Visuals: Dedicated lighting cues (Follow Spot, RGB washes) and customized LED backdrop graphics.
- Camera Focus: Dedicated cameraman attention to ensure cinematic angles for the final video edit.
Essentials & Styling
- Premium Costume: High-end attire featuring heavier embroidery, layers, or specific character styling.

At GenX Dance Academy, I want every dancer to feel the thrill of stepping onto a real stage. Our Student Showcase Program is all about moving out of the studio and into the spotlight. If your goal is more than just learning moves, this is where you become a performer.
'Thirkan' - Our Big Annual Bash
'Thirkan' is our yearly dance extravaganza. Whether you're a kid, teen, or adult, you get the chance to perform at a professional auditorium with full lights, sound, and LED magic. It's not just another recital - it's a proper live stage performance for students, and we’ve done this for over 10 years. The energy is electric, and the vibe is pure celebration.
More Than Moves
I focus on:
- Confidence building through dance - you’ll learn to handle nerves and express yourself.
- Mastering audience connection - we work on expressions, energy, and stage presence.
- Stage awareness - everything from formations to timing so you’re ready when the curtain goes up.
Performing Troupes & Teamwork
You’ll be part of a group, like Little Champs or Dancing Divaas. Dancing together means learning support, teamwork, and how to make the whole group look awesome.
The Grand Finale
After the last dance, everyone gets their moment - trophies, certificates, and a lot of cheers. 'Har pal mein Pyaar, Har Pal mein Khushi' (Love and happiness in every moment). Kya baat hai! Taaliyan rukni nahi chahiye! (Wow! The applause shouldn't stop!)

My Story
Hey! We’re GenX Dance Academy—Akanksha and crew. Our thing? Dance for everyone. Doesn’t matter if you’re a kid, teen, adult, or a mom wanting to groove with your little one. We kicked this off so folks could find their own rhythm, not just steps. Our annual show ‘Thirkan’ is madness—10 seasons, cheers, awards, parents screaming, full-on masti (fun). Har pal mein Pyaar Har Pal mein Khushi… Jee lo toh Zindagi. That’s how we roll.
My Work
Dance classes for all ages - We teach Bollywood, Jazz, Contemporary, Semi-Classical, Bhangra, Open Style and more. All skill levels.
Specialized workshops and guest artists - Contemporary dance workshops, guest dancers, and new styles to keep things fresh.
Performance training and choreography - We do Semi-Classical choreography for events, weddings, school shows, you name it.
Kids and Moms dance batch - Unique batch—kids and moms dance at same time, separate halls. Fun way to bond.
Annual dance show 'Thirkan' - Our big event. Students perform, parents cheer, everyone gets celebrated.
