- Duration: 90 Minutes including learning a signature routine.
- Extras: 10-minute Q&A session and photo opportunity with the artist.
Production & Performance
- Setup: RGB/Neon mood lighting enabled for final performance.
- Feature Video: Artist selects best performers for a specific 'Select Group' video.
- Environment: Large batch format (30+ dancers).
Single Session Style Workshop
Training Breakdown
- Duration: 90 to 120 minutes continuous training.
- Content: 15-minute warm-up drills followed by breakdown of 45-60 second choreography.
- Styles: Covers specific styles like Bolly-Hop, Urban, or Semi-Classical.
- Batch Size: Capped at 15-20 participants.

- Facility: AC studio with professional vinyl/wooden flooring and full-length mirrors.
- Video: Group video recording of the final routine (4K quality).

These aren’t usual classes - you get a full deep dive, not just a taste. We squeeze in focused training, new dance forms, and a whole lot of energy, all in one go.
Workshop Flavours
Don’t know which style to pick? We do everything from Bollywood choreography sessions, hip hop dance intensives, jazz, bhangra, and even Kathak masterclass. Each workshop is designed to push your technique and help you nail the choreography, whether you want to learn basics or get that pro touch. Sometimes, we bring in top choreographers and gurus, so you’re learning from the best.
Who’s It For?
Short answer - everyone. Kids, teens, adults, total newbies, seasoned dancers. For kids, we add games and activities to make it super fun. For families, I run parallel batches, so moms and kids can both dance (and no one gets bored).

I want you to step out of your comfort zone, but feel safe doing it. Our team is always around to guide, hype you up, and make sure you connect with the music. When you perform, I’ll be the first shouting, “Kya baat hai! Taaliyan rukni nahi chahiye!” (Wow! The applause shouldn’t stop!)

My Story
Hey! We’re GenX Dance Academy—Akanksha and crew. Our thing? Dance for everyone. Doesn’t matter if you’re a kid, teen, adult, or a mom wanting to groove with your little one. We kicked this off so folks could find their own rhythm, not just steps. Our annual show ‘Thirkan’ is madness—10 seasons, cheers, awards, parents screaming, full-on masti (fun). Har pal mein Pyaar Har Pal mein Khushi… Jee lo toh Zindagi. That’s how we roll.
My Work
Dance classes for all ages - We teach Bollywood, Jazz, Contemporary, Semi-Classical, Bhangra, Open Style and more. All skill levels.
Specialized workshops and guest artists - Contemporary dance workshops, guest dancers, and new styles to keep things fresh.
Performance training and choreography - We do Semi-Classical choreography for events, weddings, school shows, you name it.
Kids and Moms dance batch - Unique batch—kids and moms dance at same time, separate halls. Fun way to bond.
Annual dance show 'Thirkan' - Our big event. Students perform, parents cheer, everyone gets celebrated.
