About Thirkan: Little Stars (Ages 4-8)
We do not just teach steps, we ensure your child feels comfortable and confident under the spotlight. Each performance involves 8 to 12 rehearsal sessions where we focus on simple, impactful choreography, group coordination, and the sheer joy of performing.
Our Little Stars program is designed for children aged 4 to 8, focusing on making their first stage experience magical. We break down the process into manageable stages, starting with our 'Little Champs' and 'Dancing Rockets' troupes. Rehearsals are held on weekends to ensure consistency without disrupting school routines. The Thirkan annual showcase is more than just a dance recital. It takes place in a professional auditorium with full stage lighting and sound, giving your child the complete experience of a real performance. We focus on teaching them stage awareness, how to hold their position, and how to project their energy to the audience.
We include the following in our program:
- 8 to 12 weekend rehearsal sessions
- Coordinated stage costumes and props
- Professional media coverage including photos and video
- Participation trophy and certificate
We believe in building stage presence through fun, helping kids handle nerves, and mastering basic dance postures. It is a space where they learn to express themselves, find their rhythm, and bond with their peers in a supportive environment.
