At GenX Dance Academy, I believe every event deserves a bit of magic, and dance is the easiest way to get there. Whether you know your left foot from your right or not, I make sure everyone looks good and feels even better on stage.
What I Do Best
- Weddings, Sangeets, and family parties - I create Sangeet dance choreography for every age group.
- Corporate events and team-building? My corporate dance workshops get everyone moving, even the shy ones.
- School annual day performances, college fests, and cultural shows - I make routines that are fun to learn and pack a punch on stage.
- Need something grand for a festival? I love putting together festival dance productions that get the crowd cheering.

- First, I chat with you - no stress, just figuring out what you want and what your group is comfortable with.
- I pick dance styles that fit your crowd: Bollywood, Bhangra, semi-classical, hip hop, you name it.
- Rehearsals are chill - I can come to you, or you can swing by my studio.
- Most importantly, I’ll help boost your confidence so you can really enjoy the moment.
Professional Performers Available
If you’d rather watch than perform, my troupes like the Bhangra Squad know how to own the stage. Either way, I want you to hear the crowd say, “Kya baat hai!” and see those taaliyan (applause) keep rolling.

My Story
Hey! We’re GenX Dance Academy—Akanksha and crew. Our thing? Dance for everyone. Doesn’t matter if you’re a kid, teen, adult, or a mom wanting to groove with your little one. We kicked this off so folks could find their own rhythm, not just steps. Our annual show ‘Thirkan’ is madness—10 seasons, cheers, awards, parents screaming, full-on masti (fun). Har pal mein Pyaar Har Pal mein Khushi… Jee lo toh Zindagi. That’s how we roll.
My Work
Dance classes for all ages - We teach Bollywood, Jazz, Contemporary, Semi-Classical, Bhangra, Open Style and more. All skill levels.
Specialized workshops and guest artists - Contemporary dance workshops, guest dancers, and new styles to keep things fresh.
Performance training and choreography - We do Semi-Classical choreography for events, weddings, school shows, you name it.
Kids and Moms dance batch - Unique batch—kids and moms dance at same time, separate halls. Fun way to bond.
Annual dance show 'Thirkan' - Our big event. Students perform, parents cheer, everyone gets celebrated.
