Cool Chemistry Creations for Kids
Chemistry is not just formulas in a textbook; it is the science of change happening right in front of your eyes. We help kids turn everyday ingredients into explosive, colorful experiments.
"It's like a volcano!" This is the 'Elephant Toothpaste' experiment, a classic exothermic reaction that safely creates an amazing amount of foam, teaching kids about catalysts and chemical changes.
We start with the basics. A simple whiteboard drawing helps me explain the water cycle before we build our own miniature version to see it happen in real time.
A student observes our water cycle in a jar experiment. He can see the "evaporation" and "condensation" happening right inside, making a big concept feel small and understandable.
A proud young chemist with his electrolysis experiment. Using just water, salt, and a battery, he's splitting water molecules and learning about electrical currents in liquids.
Mixing and measuring is a key part of chemistry. This student is carefully pouring liquids to create a colorful reaction, learning about solutions and density.
A close-up of our simple electrolysis setup. The bubbles forming around the electrodes are visible proof that a chemical reaction is taking place, powered by the battery.
This student is focused on his chemistry experiment, carefully mixing two solutions to observe the resulting reaction.
About this collection
Chemistry is not just formulas in a textbook, it is the science of change happening right in front of your eyes. In our sessions, we do not just demonstrate reactions, we let kids drive them. Whether it is triggering that massive 'Elephant Toothpaste' foam or setting up a simple water electrolysis experiment to split molecules, every session is about getting hands messy to understand the real 'why' behind the 'wow'.
We believe the best laboratory is a workbench, not a lecture hall. When we explore chemistry, we strip away the jargon and focus on observable changes like color shifts, temperature spikes, and gas production.
In our electrolysis experiments, students use a simple battery, wire, and salt water to physically separate molecules, seeing gas bubbles form in real time. It turns an abstract concept like chemical bonds into a tangible process they can touch and control.
For younger 'Science Juniors' (ages 4-7), we keep it tactile. We might demonstrate the water cycle using jars to show evaporation and condensation, turning a classroom concept into a living model. For older kids, we dive deeper into density, acidity, and exothermic reactions like the 'Elephant Toothpaste'—a class favorite that teaches them how catalysts work without ever mentioning a dry definition.
Everything we do is designed to be safe, supervised, and, above all, repeatable. We want students to leave with the confidence that they can ask a question, try an experiment, and figure out the answer themselves. Whether you are looking for a one-off weekend session or a multi-week deep dive, we bring the lab to you in Basavanagar or across Bengaluru.
Fun in Science
We are Fun in Science, and we believe the kitchen or a workbench is the best laboratory. We take the 'magic' out of science to show kids exactly how the world around them works through hands-on building and testing.
