About this collection
Stop demonizing ghee. It is not the reason for your weight gain, but a nutrient-dense traditional fat that actually aids digestion and supports immunity when consumed in the right, moderate amounts. Let us stop fearing our traditional foods and start using them to balance our health.
Back to Basics
Our Indian kitchen is full of healing ingredients, but modern marketing often creates fear around them to push expensive alternatives. My goal is to clear the air. Sabase pehli cheez, let us talk about your daily roti. Why have we started labeling our sabzi-roti as a cheat meal while calling imported protein bars 'smart' choices? Real food did not change, your feed did.
The Reality of 'Healthy' Snacks
When you go to the market looking for healthy options, you often find biscuits labeled as 'oats cookies' or 'honey biscuits'. Aaiye jaanein, what is really inside. In many cases, the main ingredient is refined flour (maida), not oats. Honey is often added in trace amounts that do not offer any real health benefit. If you are on a weight loss journey, do not get tricked by the front of the pack. Always flip it and read the ingredients list. If maida or sugar is in the top three ingredients, it is not a health food.
Salt and Sweetener Myths
Many clients ask me if Himalayan pink salt is better than regular salt. The truth is, the sodium content is practically the same. What matters is the quantity you consume, not the color or the marketing. Similarly, while jaggery or khand are better alternatives to refined white sugar because they are less processed, they are still sweeteners. Moderation is the key to everything.
