About Our Plant-Powered Promise: Ingredients & Philosophy
Before you choose a bar, know this: because I use natural botanicals instead of synthetic hardeners, my soaps are softer than mass-produced versions. To make your bar last, please keep it on a well-draining dish. It is a small trade-off for a lather that is free from harsh chemicals and palm oil.
I started Fika because I was tired of skincare that hid its ingredients behind complex, unpronounceable names. Here, transparency is the foundation. Every bar I make relies on the traditional cold-process method. This is not the fastest way to make soap—it involves precise temperature control and a curing time of four to six weeks—but it is the only way to preserve the potency of the plant oils.
My formulations are built on a triple butter blend of Shea, Cocoa, and Kokum, chosen for their deep hydration and skin-loving fatty acids. When you look at an ingredient label, you will see raw items like French Pink Clay, turmeric root, or essential oils. You will never find palm oil, parabens, or synthetic fragrance oils in my workshop.
