The Art of Our Handmade Skincare
I make every batch right in my kitchen, using pure, honest ingredients to heal your skin, not hide it.
This is where the magic happens. I want to show you how we create our D-Tan Soap, carefully blending natural powders like Avarampoo, Licorice, and Sandalwood. We never use artificial colors, ensuring every bar is pure, handmade, and effective at removing tan and pigmentation.
Come join me as I make a fresh batch of our Beetroot Lip Balm. We use a double boiler method and natural beetroot powder for color, which helps with pigmentation. Every product is handmade in small batches to ensure it's fresh and effective.
Here is a glimpse into the making of our luxurious 24k Gold Serum. We infuse it with genuine Kumkumadi Thailam, a traditional Ayurvedic oil known for its ability to heal skin and reduce spots. The rich, golden texture comes from pure, natural ingredients.
This is how we bottle generations of care. The video shows the final steps of creating our Orange Body Wash, from mixing the natural ingredients to pouring the finished product. It’s a tradition of care, bottled just for you.
Our Dark Neck Cream is whipped to a perfect consistency to ensure it absorbs well. This video shows the process, blending ingredients like potato juice and jojoba oil that work together to gently brighten the skin.
I believe in gentle care for delicate areas. Here, I am preparing our Under Eye Gel, which is made with cucumber juice, almond oil, and basil essential oil to help reduce puffiness and dark circles with consistent use.
This is our Saffron Face Gel getting ready for dispatch. You can see the rich texture and real saffron strands, which help to brighten and even out skin tone. It’s freshly made, ensuring maximum potency.
The base of our popular D-Tan soap is this special blend of herbal powders. It includes ingredients like sandalwood and licorice that act as a gentle scrub to remove tan and leave the skin feeling soft.
We offer a painless alternative to traditional waxing with our Sandalwood Wax Powder. Here you can see how we mix the natural powder, which is gentle on the skin and effective for hair removal.
Our Skin Brightening Face Pack is a blend of various vegetable powders. You can see the different colors and textures of ingredients like potato, carrot, and beetroot powder coming together to create a potent, natural treatment.
About Our Handmade Process
I don’t believe in massive inventory. Every jar and bar you receive is made in small, controlled batches right here in my workshop. This means your serum or soap doesn't sit on a shelf for months, and you get the full, raw potency of the fresh herbs, cold-pressed oils, and floral distillates I use to create them.
Why Small Batches Matter
When I started Surabhidasha, I realized that many commercial products sit in warehouses for ages, losing the effectiveness of their natural ingredients. My approach is the opposite. I work in limited, fresh batches to ensure that the herbal powders—like the Avarampoo and Manjistha in our D-Tan soap—or the fresh aloe vera pulp in our gels are at their peak when they reach you.
The Kitchen-to-Skin Process
Everything you see here is made using traditional methods.
- Double Boiler Technique: For products like my Beetroot Lip Balm, I use a slow double boiler method. This gently heats the ingredients, ensuring the oils and natural waxes blend without losing their nutritive properties.
- No Artificial Fillers: When I make a batch of Kumkumadi Thailam or Saffron Face Gel, you see real ingredients. That golden hue and the active scent come from pure saffron strands and authentic oils, not from synthetic colorants or fragrance oils.
- Fresh Herb Processing: I personally handle the blending of vegetable powders and fresh floral distillates. If a product calls for potato juice or fresh mint leaves, that is exactly what goes in.
My Commitment to Honesty
My process is visible because I have nothing to hide. You won't find silicones, parabens, or sulphates here. I treat every batch as if it were for my own family, ensuring that the texture, potency, and safety meet the standards I set for my own skin. When you choose a product from my workshop, you aren't getting a mass-produced item; you are getting a piece of my journey toward natural healing.
Surabhidasha
I’m Lavanya, and Surabhidasha started from my own need to find skincare that actually worked without hidden chemicals. I’m the one picking the ingredients, mixing the batches, and ensuring every product is packed with the same care I’d use for my own family.
