About Additional Designs
Every piece here is made-to-order, which means we can tweak the sleeves, switch up the colors, or even match the embroidery to your vision. Because kids grow fast, I build in at least 2 to 3 inches of margin inside every lehenga and blouse, so the outfit lasts through more than just one festival.
When you choose a custom design, we start with the fabric. I work primarily with Kanchi Pattu, Banarasi, and Paithani silk, as these provide the structure and festive look that parents love. However, I know that kids prioritize comfort. That is why every single outfit is finished with a soft cotton lining, ensuring it never feels scratchy against sensitive skin.
Designing Your Outfit
Customisation is the heart of what I do. If you see a style you like but prefer a different color combination, we can absolutely make that happen. Whether it is a puff-sleeve blouse to match a specific lehenga or a peplum top with detailed Maggam work, my goal is to create something that fits your child perfectly and reflects your personal style.
Practical Details
- Maggam Work: We focus on intricate hand embroidery on necklines and sleeves using Zari and stones to give that signature festive finish.
- Tassels: Every lehenga comes with handmade latkans that match the outfit colors, adding a playful touch.
- Flexibility: For newborns and toddlers, I often recommend lighter silks like Zari Kota to keep the weight manageable.
If you are planning for a wedding or a festival, just let me know the occasion. I can guide you on which fabrics will be the most breathable for your child while still maintaining that traditional look.
