From velvet jackets to hand-painted Kalamkari, I design comfortable traditional sets that let boys look sharp and stay playful all day.

About Kurta Sets for Little Gentlemen

For these sets, I prioritize comfort as much as the look. Every kurta comes with soft cotton lining, and the dhotis feature elastic or velcro waistbands, so your little one can run around without fuss. Plus, I always add a generous margin inside, making sure the outfit fits comfortably even after a few growth spurts.

When designing for boys, my main goal is to move away from stiff, uncomfortable ethnic wear. I use premium materials like raw silk, soft velvet, and breathable cotton-silk blends to ensure the clothes feel good against the skin while still looking festive and sharp.

Designing for Every Occasion

Whether you need a look for a grand wedding or a simple family pooja, I have options tailored to the event:

  • Sherwani-Style Sets: These are perfect for weddings or special functions. I use raw silk or velvet for a rich feel, often accented with gold embroidery and a contrasting dhoti or pajama.
  • Kalamkari & Prints: For festivals or casual parties, I love using hand-painted Kalamkari fabrics. They are vibrant, colorful, and add a playful touch that looks great in photos.
  • Newborn Comfort: For the tiniest gentlemen, I keep the embroidery minimal and ensure the fabric is extra soft. I often use side-zip closures or easy button plackets so getting dressed is a quick, stress-free process for both you and the baby.

Practical Details

I know boys love to run and play. That is why I include features like pre-stitched dhotis with elastic waistbands, removing the hassle of traditional pleating. Most kurtas include a soft cotton lining to prevent itching, especially with heavier fabrics. Since children grow so fast, I sew in 2-3 inches of margin on the inside of every garment, allowing you to get more wear out of the set.

I am based in Bangalore and Hyderabad, but I ship across India and even internationally. Because these sets are made-to-order, we can tweak anything from the color to the embroidery motifs—like elephants, deers, or floral patterns—to perfectly match the theme you have in mind.

I’m Shretha, and my goal with these kurta sets is simple: making traditional wear that doesn't feel restrictive. I love finding that balance where a kid looks ready for a wedding or festival, but still feels like he can move, sit, and play comfortably.
