Seasonal Organic Produce Harvests
Real food does not have a label. Here is what we are currently picking fresh from our Amarkanan and Primrose farms, grown entirely without chemicals.
Our farmers tending to the Haldi (turmeric) plants at our Gurgaon farm. It's this hands-on, careful work that ensures the quality and health of every crop we grow.
A beautiful bunch of raw bananas, freshly picked from the plant. Growing your own food means you get to enjoy produce at its peak freshness, something you can truly taste.
A close-up of a healthy Gongura plant, also known as sorrel leaves. We love growing a variety of regional greens that are packed with unique flavors and health benefits.
A lush and thriving passion fruit vine at our farm. These vigorous climbers produce delicious and exotic fruit, adding a special touch to any garden.
A healthy Arbi (colocasia) plant with its large, heart-shaped leaves. We use drip irrigation, visible here, to deliver water efficiently to the roots of our crops.
Chichinda, or snake gourd, hanging from a vine. This is one of the many interesting and nutritious gourds we grow for our weekly vegetable baskets.
The delicate flowers of a Lobia Fali (cowpea) plant. Seeing the entire life cycle of a plant, from flower to fruit, is one of the simple joys of farming.
An Ash Gourd growing on the vine. This versatile vegetable is known for its cooling properties and is a wonderful addition to a summer garden.
Fresh Okra, or Bhindi, growing on a client's farm that we manage. There is nothing quite like the taste of bhindi picked fresh from the plant.
A dense patch of Kalmi Saag (water spinach) growing in a raised bed. These nutritious greens grow quickly and provide a continuous harvest.
About The Season's Harvest
The difference between store-bought vegetables and what you see here is the mitti (soil). When you taste a tomato or bhindi picked at its peak, the flavor is entirely different because it has not been forced to ripen in transit. We use drip irrigation and natural compost to ensure every harvest packs a nutrient punch, whether it is grown on our community farmlets or your own rooftop.
We believe that the best food has no travel time. When you see chichinda (snake gourd) or kalmi saag in our baskets, you know it was in the ground just hours before reaching your kitchen. Our cultivation is rooted in regenerative agriculture; we build the soil rather than depleting it.
For those in Delhi and Gurgaon, our farmlets at Chhatarpur and Primrose are the engines behind these harvests. We use bio-pesticides like neem oil and nutrient boosters like jeevamrut to keep plants healthy without synthetic sprays. Whether you are leasing a 1,200 sq. ft. plot for a DIY experience or letting us manage your home garden, the goal is to get you back to the source.
We handle the technical side—crop planning based on the season, soil preparation, and irrigation management—so you only experience the joy of the harvest. From winter staples like spinach and carrots to summer favorites like tori and bhindi, our gardens mirror the rhythm of the local seasons. If you want to know what is growing right now, just ask.
Edible Routes
We started Edible Routes because we missed the taste of food that actually came from the soil. Today, we are a group of folks who help you grow your own food, whether you have a big rooftop or just a sunny balcony. It is about getting your hands in the *mitti* and eating real, healthy produce.
