For these sessions, I prefer keeping things simple. We do not need heavy setups or distracting props. You just show up, and we use natural window light or clean studio backgrounds to find those subtle, quiet expressions. I suggest wearing outfits that feel like 'you', not what you think you should wear for a photo. If you feel comfortable in your skin, the camera will catch the rest.
My approach to portraiture is about 'kahi ankahi baatein'—the things unsaid. Whether we are shooting in a bright, airy studio or finding the right pockets of natural light in a Bangalore park, the goal remains the same: to create an image that feels authentic.
