About this collection
I don't direct poses. Instead, I wait for a shift in light or a natural laugh to happen, often in the comfort of your home or a favorite quiet street. We spend the first part of our session just talking—music playing, coffee in hand—so the camera feels less like an intruder and more like a quiet observer of your life.
When I shoot, my priority is the atmosphere. Whether we are in a sunlit corner of a Kochi heritage home or a cozy Bangalore apartment, the goal is to capture the feeling of the space and the people within it.
This means no forced smiles. I lean heavily into candid portrait photography because the most honest emotions happen when you forget I am there. If we are shooting Bangalore lifestyle portraits, we might walk through your favorite neighborhood or just sit on your balcony.
I often shoot in monochrome because it strips away distractions, letting us focus on the black and white moments that matter—a touch, a glance, or a comfortable silence. My approach to cinematic photography comes from my love of light and shadow. I look for how the afternoon sun hits a wall or how a streetlamp glows at dusk to frame our shoot.
