About Fitness and Agility Training
We do not just run laps. Our conditioning drills focus on specific basketball movements like defensive slides, explosive first steps, and vertical jumping. We track intensity because, in a real game, you need that extra burst of speed when everyone else is tired. Wear proper shoes with good grip; these synthetic courts are great, but your ankles need the support.
Why Fitness is the Foundation
You can have the best shot in Delhi, but if you are gassed by the third quarter, you will not make it count. At our East Delhi sessions, we treat fitness as the core, not a warm-up. We run drills like suicides and high-intensity interval training to mimic the stop-and-start nature of basketball.
What We Focus On
- Agility and Footwork: It is all about staying low. We emphasize defensive slides and change-of-direction drills to improve your reaction time on the court.
- Explosive Power: Jumping higher and moving faster requires dedicated strength work. We integrate bodyweight exercises that build your core and leg strength without needing heavy gym equipment.
- Stamina: Basketball matches are long. Our conditioning ensures you keep your intensity high from tip-off to the final buzzer.
Training Environment
We operate out of the GD Goenka Public School premises, right behind Karkardooma Metro. The outdoor synthetic surface provides consistent bounce and reliable traction, allowing you to focus purely on your movement. Whether you are a Sub-Junior or a Senior, the intensity matches your age group. We believe in the 'chalte reh' mindset—even when it gets tough, you learn to push past your limits.
